Start with the problem
Before a single pixel, I get to the actual constraint, the thing that is hard. Good design is just clear thinking made visible.

Prototype in the real medium
I build in code early, not static mockups. The browser is the material, so I shape it directly: motion, weight and feel from day one.

Obsess over the half-pixel
The easing curve, the timing, the hover that lands just right. The details nobody can name are the ones everybody feels.

Ship something that lasts
Performant, accessible, maintainable. Cool that breaks in a month is not cool, it is a liability. I build things that hold up.
